Watching a movie with my friend

1. The last time I watched a movie in cinema was about one year ago. (good sentence)

2. I watched ‘Resident Evil 4’ with my friend. (good sentence)

3. It was very difficult to find someone who wanted to accompany me to a horror movie, so I promised my friend that I would treat him to dinner if he’d go with me. 

Correction: It was very difficult to find someone who can accompany me to watch a horror movie so I promised my friend that I would treat him for dinner if he'd go with me. 

4. Since it was a very popular movie, I reserved the tickets through the Internet a few days earlier. (good sentence)

5. And on the day, I picked them up at the ticket counter.

Correction: And on that day, I (got) picked up my tickets at the ticket counter.

6. I bought popcorn and beverages to eat during the screening.

Correction: I bought popcorn and beverages so that we'll have something to eat during the screening.

7. As it turned out, the movie was not as good as I expected it to be. (good sentence)

8. After watching the movie, I took him to a restaurant as I had promised and bought him dinner. (good sentence)

9. After I came home, I wrote a review of the movie on my blog. (good sentence)

Well, I also like watching horror movies. :)

Just recently, I watched a movie: "Rurouni Kenshin". It is a Japanese movie. 

It is a live action movie adapted from the anime series and manga "Rurouni Kenshin" / Samurai X.

I really like this anime. I watched the series and I read the manga too. The live action movie is great.

Somehow, they were able to present the highlights/ important scenes.  You should watch it too. ^_^
