Difficulty to plan traveling

A daycare center is on vacation in this week, so I have the next two days off and will play with my sons. I had planned to visit a sothern part of Korea where there are water park and hotels for our company employees. But some of my colleagues told me it’s too far away from my house. They worried it would be hard for my 1 year old boy to take over 4 hours road trip.
So I changed my mind and abruptly tried to make contingency plans. Going to a zoo, an aquarium, an amusement park, an island by ship… I brainstormed and wrote down available places for visit as many as possible. But that was it. I was so exhausted to think about traveling that stopped checking more detailed information such as restaurants, parking lots, and any discount promotions. It was not any more fun to make travel plans. Although I didn’t prepare fully organized travel plan, hope my family will have fun and take a good break on this vacation.
