I pursued to study accounting for getting Ph.D. and aimed to be a university professor. But I suddenly wanted to ask myself yesterday if my goal is skeptical or not. I’m 36 years old so I don’t want to spend much time for preparing for graduate school admissions. Surely I have to make sure to follow all the admission guidelines and prepare every requirement that is necessary for getting admissions.
Theoretically, what I need is to get a high GMAT score. So if I study GMAT from next week to the end of the year, wirte a statement of purpose in English, and receive recommendation letters from professors, then I would be able to apply for Ph.D. in accounting.
What I remember is that I received rejections from all the universities where I applied two years ago. I know my GMAT score was low at that time. What are some other requirements that qualify me as a Ph.D. applicant in accounting? Master degree in accounting? Accounting certificates?
