I will explain you about new institution of my company.

Today, I recieved a notice that there will be a new commute rule and it will be implemented next week.

It's called the institution of "self-controlled commute".

Some departments in my company follow the "self-controlled commute" already.

Even now, my team became that rule applies.

This new rule is for employees who are working for 40 hours a week or more who do not have a fixed commute time.

So, starting next week, I can go to the office at any time I want.

It has a lot of benefits. One of the benefits is that I can control my working time according to my personal plans.

I can also avoid rush hours when I go to the office. And, I can go to the bank or to the hospital without taking a day off or a half-day off when I have private matters to attend to.

But, it also has disadvantages. If the employee couldn't manage his or her time, it can be toxic.

If he or she doesn't work for over 40 hours a week, they might receive a warning or a sanction from the company.

So, I have to manage my time better compared to when I was following the fixed commute rules.
