Police officers in Korea are two kinds, a uniformed policeman and a plain-clothes policeman.
We can see easily a uniformed policeman on the street, traffic policeman.
Policemen always wear black hat and pants with white shirts and black boots.
In winter, they wear light grey jumper and put on white gloves.
Around their waist, they have a utility belt, walkie-talkie, a signal short bar and so on.
I don’t know their rank system well but I heard that their badge, patch and insignia worn on the hat, chest and shoulders indicate their rank.
Owing to police officers, our society keeps public order.
