Hi. Tristan.
Today, I wanted to say "I was on a vacation for caring a baby given for an year from the company after giving a birth when my father passed away."

Actually, I forgot the word "vacation" and now I want you to check whether it is correct expression or not.

Thank you.

Hi. Tristan.

Today, I wanted to say "I was on a vacation for caring a baby given for an year from the company after giving a birth when my father passed away."

Actually, I forgot the word "vacation" and now I want you to check whether it is correct expression or not.

Thank you.

**For a year I was on maternity leave from my company, and during that time my father passed away.

" Maternity Leave " is the actual vacation that you took while you were pregnant, and in most business settings this is the proper expression that personnel use to describe their absence due to child birth; however, if you insist you can also say something like:

**I was on vacation for a year from work because at the time I was pregnant, and my father passed away too.

*** Once you've mastered the basics of English grammar, and consistently use them in your everyday speech; expressions like the ones I just made in reply to your request will become 2nd nature to you I promise....... just continue to do things like this for extra help or practice as much as you need Joey! ***

Peace,

Teacher Tristan
