During the Lunar New Year holiday, I went on a 2-night, 3-day trip to Gunsan, Byeonsan, Hampyeong, and Mokpo with my parents.
Among them, Gunsan and Mokpo are cities with painful histories.
In the past, during the Japanese colonial period, a port was built to steal Korea's grain and cultural heritage, and it was a very large port city at the time.
Even now, many Japanese-style buildings remain.
Hampyeong Seawater Steaming is famous for boiling Hampyeong Bay's natural seawater, which contains germanium, with sulfur stones directly heated with pine firewood.
My parents especially liked it.
