It's about 5 years ago.
I had a big project.
the goal was to build a supercomputer that had to perform 5 TFlops.
When I was in the project, I worked with IBM Global. Especially US engineer was joined to that project.
The supercomputer was made up of around 400 computers and many network devices.
We tried to achieve 5 Tflops, but it was only 4.5 TFlops. We needed more 0.5 Tflops.
IBM US engineer was logged in to that supercomputer remotely, to tune it up.
As you know, there is time difference between the US and Korea.
So I must wake up until US engineer finished his tuning job.
It was very hard to work Day and Night.
Anyway around 2 weeks later, we failed to tune up that supercomputer,
finally IBM added more computers to achieve 5 TFlops.
This is the hardest project that I remember.
